Ceiling Vents
Our white plastic internal ceiling vents will help increase the efficiency of your whirlybird installation. The ceiling vents allow hot air to be drawn up and out of the living spaces of your home and in to the roof cavity. Where your whirlybirds can then expel the hot air from within the roof.

The manufacturer recommends installing at least 1 ceiling vent per whirlybird OR 1 ceiling vent per room.
Only available when purchased with a whirlybird installation.
Please note that we are only licenced to install ceiling vents in to gyprock ceilings. We are not licenced to install in to Asbestos ceilings.
Closeable Ceiling Vents
Edmonds closeable internal ceiling vents allow you to control the flow of heat from a room. During summer, the vent is easily opened to allow hot air to be drawn up and out of the living space. During winter, the vent can be closed to prevent heat from escaping your home.

Eave Vents
Edmonds external eave vents increase the efficiency of your whirlybird installation. The eave vents allow fresh air to be drawn up through the eaves and in to the roof cavity. This vastly improves the cross ventilation of the roof space and provides a constant flow of cool air throughout the roof.
For lowset rooves (eaves < 3m) installation is $33 / vent.
For highset rooves (eaves > 3m) installation is $50 / vent.

Whirlybird Shutters
Edmonds ventilation whirlybird shutters allow you to manually control the use of your whirlybirds.
Designed to suit Windmaster Whirlybirds only.
The shutter comes with a simple cord that allows the whirlybird to be opened or closed to suit conditions.
Only available when purchased with a Windmaster whirlybird installation.
Whirlybird Spark Guards
Edmonds ventilation spark guards prevent embers from entering your roof cavity through your whirlybirds.
Designed to suit Windmaster Whirlybirds only.
- The protective mesh fits in to the throat of the whirlybird
- Recommended for bush fire prone areas
- Meets Australian Standard AS3959:1999
